Agustina Villarreal Barron

Ms. Agustina Villarreal Barron, 56, of Lubbock departed Friday, November 25, 2022.  Visitation will begin on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 3p.m., with Rosary starting at 6p.m. On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 10 a.m. a Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe will take place. Services are under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.

Agustina, also lovingly known as "Sweet T”, was born November 2, 1966, in Lubbock, Texas to Esperanza and Jesus Barron Sr. Agustina expressed her love by baking cakes and making sweet tea for those she loved dearly. Being an avid fan of the Cowboys, you would either hear her cheering them on or yelling at the T.V. on game days. She loved listening to her classic R&B to mellow her days. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and taking care of her nieces and nephews. Sweet T remained a loving daughter, sister, aunt, & friend while she courageously battled her fight with Lupus. 

She is preceded in death by her mother Esperanza Villarreal Barron (2002); two brothers Valentine Barron and Raul Barron (2019).

Those left to cherish her memory are her father Jesus E. Barron Sr.; two brothers Jesus Barron Jr. (Gracie) and Richard Barron (Leticia); a sister & Best Friend Lisa Barron Hays (Marcus) and a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews all of Lubbock.
