Viewing and visitation for Mr. Adam Christopher Hernandez, 36 of Lubbock, will begin at 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. the same evening. The second day viewing and visitation will begin Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 24, 2025, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with Father Martin Pina officiating. Burial will follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.

On the evening of Saturday, February 15, 2025, Adam, went to be with the Lord. He was born on January 16, 1989, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Adan Hernandez and Anita Ybarra.

Adam was a dedicated framer and asphalt layer in the construction industry, with a resilient work ethic that took him to the oil rigs, where he faced challenges with determination and grit. His commitment to his work was matched only by his profound love for his family and friends, which defined the essence of who he was.

Outside of his professional life, Adam had an infectious enthusiasm for sports and video games. He could often be found cheering for his favorite teams or engaging in friendly competitions with friends and loved ones. More than anything, he adored spending time with his nieces and nephews, creating treasured memories through laughter, games, and playful antics. This joy he brought into their lives was a testament to his warm and nurturing spirit, as he reveled in every moment he could share with them.

As we celebrate the life of Adam Christopher Hernandez, let us remember the joy he spread and the love he shared. His legacy will continue to live on through the hearts of all whom he touched.

He is preceded in death by his father Adan Hernandez (2019) and his paternal grandfather Felix Ybarra.

He is survived by his mother Anita Ybarra of Lubbock; a daughter Azalea Aguirre of Dumas, Texas; a brother Michael Hernandez and wife Tonya of Kansas City, MO; two sisters Sabrina and husband Valentine Chavez of Lubbock and Cristal Hernandez of Ft. Worth; paternal grandparents Manuel and Anita Hernandez of Lubbock; his maternal grandmother Clarita Ybarra of Lubbock; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
